Every summer Healthy WashCo hosts a leadership program. A group of high school students attend leadership training days throughout the summer. The topics of those days range from interpersonal skill development to the importance of civic responsibility. We invite community leaders to share their knowledge and build positive support networks for the youth. The program culminates with an end of the summer training retreat at Luther Point. At the retreat the leaders have the opportunity to work alongside younger peers. A practicum for all that they’ve learned during the summer.
